Why get micro atx
Or do you need a high-end gaming PC? If you have any questions, comments, or anything else, feel free to leave them below! I liked three motherboards. Which one should I choose? Very helpful!!! My eyes were glazing over when looking at build lists on pcpartpicker! But now I know: start with the motherboard! The first part to pick would be your processor, in my opinion. From there, you can choose the right motherboard to support it, and then everything else. I usually go for an ATX, I like having extra slots for everything just in case I need to upgrade in the future!
Upgrade surely means to swap a part out for a better part? Nothing looks more ridiculos than a huge tower with one GPU installed and masses of free space. How about adding more storage? If you need both, well, that would have been and still is a bad idea on an mATX board due to how cramped everything would be. Now, 2 years later, a lot has changed. Definitely a great option for most people. The m-ATX boards they build now leave you with plenty of room for upgrade.
Hence gigabytes z pro m-atx board they has g max ram and can hold a ik so I think the bigger boards just come down to preference. I prefer a smaller board less heat more airflow in the case and less pci ports.

Written by Branton. Last updated Sep 6, Budget Your budget is something that should be considered when picking out your motherboard. They come in different sizes, applications, and formats. We will look into these two motherboards, their features and find out the best suited for gaming! Buy on Amazon. Both motherboard models have similar RAM storage capacities.
This makes them suitable for RAM-intensive gaming. Some variants of the motherboard can support up to four RAM slots. This motherboard replaced its predecessor that had the Baby AT design.
The model allows for full-length expansions in all sockets by rotating and completely changing the earlier CPU and memory angles. It has excellent performance and ma much lower price. It is especially suitable when you are looking for a motherboard that can suit your personal needs as opposed to business. These smaller cases also make traveling with your PC far more convenient than with a full-size case with a regular ATX motherboard inside.
The saved money and space make the Micro-ATX the better option for the average PC user who can plan ahead and configure their build properly before obtaining components.
In short, the ATX motherboard is a larger motherboard with more options for additional storage expansion cards. The Micro-ATX motherboard is a smaller motherboard that saves space and energy and is generally cheaper as a result.
Take your needs and budget into consideration, and the features will point you in the right direction. Happy building.
